My name is Fernando, but most people call me Vasterz, or V for short. I’m the Founder and President of TLIU Studios, and I’m a born-again Christian.

I fell in love with technology the moment I got my first computer. I spent hours playing games like The Pinball Arcade or Minesweeper, and without realizing it at the time, that curiosity turned into a lifelong interest in how things work. I’ve always had a creative mindset, and technology became the tool that let me build, experiment, and bring ideas to life.

As I got older and stepped into the professional world, I started noticing something that really bothered me. I saw businesses constantly paying individuals and companies for digital work, only to receive results that were mediocre more often than not. One experience, in particular, stuck with me.

​

A company I worked for hired a third-party web development firm to rebuild their website. They were being charged over $10,000 every month, waited more than a month for delivery, and in the end, the “new” website was basically a copy and paste of the old one. Very little had changed. Watching it happen felt unreal. The company wasn’t even that big, yet they were clearly being taken advantage of.

That wasn’t the only situation like this, just the final straw. I had seen too many shady business practices and too many people overcharged for work that didn’t match the price. At some point, I said to myself, enough is enough. Instead of complaining about it, I decided to get to work.

That’s how TLIU Studios was born.
